Rethreading Set
Here is a set of External Chasers (19) and Internal
Chasers (32) that are designed to restore the threads to Standard
Course, SAE Fine, and Metric sizes. The Set is color-coded; Silver
are Standard Course, Black are SAE Fine, and Gold are
Metric. The Set also contains Two Thread Files, one std Course/Fine
Pitch and the other is a Metric Pitch. What a time saver this set is for
the technician who has a damaged thread. Now, the thread can be quickly
repaired and put back into service. Cuts down the lost time of digging
through the old "nuts and bolts" box, looking for a replacement.
Packaged in a durable plastic case with two latching fasteners. The Case
has a cavity for each piece for easy tool control. The Case will lie
flat in your toolbox. Sizes range from: Course ¼- 20 to ¾- 10 SAE Fine
¼- 28 to ¾- 16 Metric 6 x 1.00mm to 20 x 1.50mm.
